Journalist. Artist. Content Creator.
These are a few of the many words that can be used to describe Lily Finley, a student at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication studying journalism and mass communications with a minor in design studies.
Lily is passionate about all things creativity, be it through the written word or through visuals. Her skillset lies in the use of programs such as Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premier. These skills have been put to use in freelance writing and logo design work.
She has experience in digital content creation and social media. Each of these has been cultivated by acting as a social media specialist for the ISLAND GRAD nonprofit organization, an editorial intern for the publication Destination I Do, and a storyteller for the ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation. Lily has also worked as an editorial illustrator and designer for ASU's student-run newspaper The State Press since 2021.
Outside of her work, Lily can usually be found drawing, reading, or trying (and occasionally failing at) tricks on roller skates.
